Working in WA
West Australians are living longer and healthier lives with an average life expectancy of 76 years for men and 82 years for women. Our mortality rate continues to decline and is among the lowest of any Australian State.
Western Australia's sparse population, vast distances and diverse climate present unique problems to the delivery of health services. The demands of a sophisticated market have led to the development of considerable expertise in all aspects of health care in Western Australia, and in many areas we lead the world.
See Living in WA for more information.
