Mini-CEX
A "Mini-CEX" is a "Mini Clinical Evaluation Exercise" that involves a direct observation of a doctor’s core clinical skills in a patient encounter. Observations usually last between 10-20 min, depending on a variety of factors including setting and discipline and ratings of performance are recorded on a standardized one-page form.
